The 5th "Gathering of the Green" conference will be held
on March 12, 13, 14 & 15, 2008 at the Holiday Inn Moline
Airport, Moline, Illinois, the home of Deere & Company.
The conference, focusing on John Deere antique twocylinder
and new generation tractors, is composed of 42
technical workshops, 65 vendors from across the nation,
three evening speakers, fun auction, tours of John Deere
factories in the Quad Cities, tours of tractor and
implement museums, tours and luncheons for spouses, an
opening night reception and a final evening banquet with a

"Preserving the Past" is the 2008 theme and will emphasize
the evolution of agriculture and rural life with a focus on
two-cylinder and 8ew Generation tractors, implements and
the long history and heritage of John Deere. This
conference is a must for all two-cylinder enthusiasts. Talk
to anyone who has attended in the past, they'll tell you not
to miss it. Over 1600 people from 39 states and Canada
attended the 2006 conference.
